SUSAN ROSEMAN
Prosaic and usually familiar, the domestic scenes I record are created out of my recollections and reflections. The observations that make up these scenes support certain qualities and characteristics that are personal and universal at the same time. The simple medium of linocut conveys, in its directness and contrast many facets that of the life I portray.

SUSAN’S ARTIE ART CARDS
Artie Art was inspired by my love of art, dogs, and joy in life. Artie was a therapy dog, companion, loyal friend and much loved canine member of our family. Every Tuesday and Holidays Artie and our other dogs would visit a local nursing home. The four dogs would ride in a wheelchair and Artie was the leader, teacher and a ham. He had charm, personality, and attitude. He brought a smile to everyone he met. His spirit, determination, and drive inspired me during a difficult time to create a line of cards and dedicate it to him.
