I was a self-taught artist that had an outside career when my husband encouraged me to follow my dream and become a full-time artist. I sought study + guidance from PAFA, Moore, and Tyler Art School, also trained teachers at the Wayne Art Center, and Historic Yellow Springs Studio. I experimented in different techniques and applications. I won awards and got into juried shows and finally was accepted at a Center City Philadelphia Gallery. From there I branched out to other Galleries and Shows.
– It was a teacher that helped me to discover that my natural instinctive, creative style was not figurative as is for most but instead abstract. Having learned this I find that I am most happy blending the figurative and the abstract. Each year, over the last few years, I have released a curated series of vibrant Goats. They are light-hearted and have brought much joy to many!
