Dale O. Roberts “Observed Realities in Unusual Mediums”

Dale has long been interested in a dialogue with the visible world, weather exploring the possibilities of landscape or still life, a unique process of invention characterizes his work. The artist has painted in the demanding and ancient medium of encaustic for over 35 years. This intrinsically beautiful paint has been used by Roberts for many of his significant efforts. On display at CityFolk Gallery from April 5 – 30 a number of Encaustic, gouache and silverpoint works will provide an array of approaches bringing Roberts’ personal vision to Lancaster.
