An Earthquake in Lancaster? Really? Yes.
The Main Gallery suffered some damage from the earthquake a few years back and has gotten progressively worse. I love our Old Building and its fabulous plaster walls, but as plaster goes, that small crack-line grew larger and larger. We held off for this wintery month to do the messy repair. Our Main Gallery will be closed for February and reopen in March.
If you look behind the antique French Column (far left) you will see the crack before it crumbled.
